This Blogger/Blogspot design is called "Whimsy" and it's available under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported License.

*** A few things ***
This blogger template is for those of you who are comfortable editing images and uploading them to the internet (and then replacing the image path). YOUR BLOG TITLE AND DESCRIPTION WILL NOT SHOW UP - this design is not interactive from your Blogger Dashboard.

The header image is a blank banner that you may do what you wish to. I have included a jpg, a gif and the layered photoshop file (for those who have photoshop).

Here is the image (see it's blank and ready for you):

click the image to view full size
and then right click and "Save Image As....."
(or download the zip file, it's in there too!)

For more details on how to replace the header image - click here.

I got it! Gimme the template!

Hi! Really love the blogger templates you've made. I'm not familiar with XML code though. I have a few questions:

1. How do you add links?
2. How do you add stat counter code?
3. How do you add external banners, such as the ones you find at www.one.org?

My email's cla_sy@hotmail.com. Thanks so much. :)

hi c.l.a.r.i.s.s.e
(whew) Was that right?

Anyway, looking at your blog I would guess that you figured out how to add extra banners and things - good going!

XML is easy - just means that you can add/subtract things easily from within the "page layout" area. Play around with it - I'm sure you'll get accustomed to it quickly.

I'll send you an email with some more sites that might help.

Hi,

I have hidden the nav bar - to show it, please remove only this code from LAYOUT >> Edit HTML

(scroll down that big box of code until you find this)

#navbar-iframe {
height: 0px;
visibility: hidden;
display: none;
}

Remove that and it'll be back!

Found your site today, and saved myself some major $$$! I was about to shell out some cash to get my blog looking NOT boring! Thank you so much for the awesome templates! I went with Whimsy today, but will probably switch it up, maybe in the fall! It was so quick and easy and I think it looks great!!

I do have one silly blogger question for you - I have never been able to add a "contact me" element on my blog with a hidden link to my email. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Thanks for the great templates! I changed the header for this a bit and am trying to use it on my (shiny new) blog, but I can't get the header to show up. I followed your instructions and all was well until I changed it to my header.

Please help!

Hi there! I'm so glad you're back on the site! I've been debating for a few days which of your lovely designs I might want to use. I like this one and I was just wondering if there is any way to change the side bars that are grey? I'm really not the super 'comfortable' one with all this 'tech' stuff and will probably end up getting my dh to help me.

Thanks!
Julie

P.S. I really like the pink and grey one with the flourishes on the top as well. I don't suppose that one could be changed into a white background?

Thanks so much!

Thanks for making wonderful layouts! ^__^ I am not great in designing so it really means a lot to me. I had a hard time choosing from so many beautiful layouts and finally, I picked this one. I like how its simple and clean.

Hope to see more themes from you. Take care always! ^___^

Hi! I am brand new to the blog world and I absolutely love this design! You are so talented and we are so lucky you allow us access to your awesome work. I am sure this is the stupidest mistake in the world, but can you tell me how to change the header from saying "blog title", or nothing (I can get it to do that), to my own title? Thanks so much!

Hello there,thanks for giving me the awsome templates i like it.but i need to ask you one thing,how can i remove the word 'Blog title' so that i can change it to my own word?

Hi Yann... you have to make your own header image and upload it to the internet and replace the header image. It sounds more complicated than it is.

I just love your designs. Thanks for letting me use it for my blog. One thing I saw is that the comments/links/posted by info at the bottom of the post is all on one line and won't move to the 2nd line or the top of the post. Also, the quick edit pencil doesn't appear. Is there a way to fix that in the template?

Hi CC - after a bit of research I have discovered what to do to make the "blog post"

LAYOUT >> EDIT HTML

Then under the big box of code you'll see:

"Revert widget templates to default"

Click this. Then if you make changes by "Configuring Blog Posts" (ie: change the positioning of the comments, date etc) you will see these changes take effect. You may have to "Revert widget templates to default" again if you make further changes to see them.

This does seem to work... I've just been testing it a few times.

xx
